PROJECTS

At POMA our aim is to create inspirational energy efficient designs that respond thoughtfully to the individual needs of every client and site. We focus on designing buildings of varying architectural styles namely that of contemporary, traditional and classical (period) styles. We have highlighted six projects below which showcases our design ability in architecture and our ability to create contrasting styles of architecture.

The principal ‘Patrick J. O’ Meara’ has gained considerable experience in both the private and public sectors of architectural practice. He has worked on projects of varying scales such as the Peoples Park (Waterford) Landscaping, Apartment Design, Period Style housing, Urban Renewal Works and Conservation Works. We are typically involved in construction projects with a construction cost ranging from a minimum one hundred thousand euro to a maximum of one and a half million euro.

Further to the above, our buildings are highly energy efficient and airtight and meet a minimum A3 rating on the Building Energy Rating scale. The Building Regulations have been updated during November 2019 and as such every dwelling is required to meet a minimum A2 rating on the BER scale. The current building stock accounts for at least 40% of energy consumption in Ireland and is directly responsible for a large proportion of greenhouse gas emissions.
